What devices can I use Valiro on? Any device with a web browser. Desktop, laptop, tablet, phone. There’s no app to install—just go to your Valiro URL.

What’s the difference between Office and Mobile view? Office is the full interface for desktop work—all the features, all the details. Mobile is streamlined for phones and tablets, focused on what field workers need: tasks, chat, and updates.

How do I switch between them? Click your profile picture in the top right, then choose “Switch to Mobile View” or “Switch to Office View.”

How many projects can I create? As many as you need. There’s no limit.

What’s the difference between work packages and work items? Work packages are big chunks—phases, stages, milestones. Work items are the actual tasks inside those packages.

Can I copy a project? Not directly, but if you frequently create similar projects, ask your admin about setting up templates.

I can’t find the Create Project button. You might not have permission to create projects. Check with your admin about your role.

What file types work with AI? PDFs and Word documents work best—the AI can read and understand them. You can upload other formats (Excel, images, etc.) but AI won’t be able to search inside them.

How long does processing take? Usually 10 seconds to a minute, depending on the document size. You don’t need to wait—it happens in the background.

Why did my document fail to process? Most common reasons: the file is password-protected, corrupted, or in an unusual format. Try re-uploading or re-exporting the PDF without protection.

Is there a file size limit? Typically 10-50 MB per file, but this varies by organization. Ask your admin if you’re hitting limits.

What are Gems? AI assistants that answer questions based on your uploaded documents. Different Gems can be configured for different purposes.

Can AI see all my documents? Depends on how it’s configured. Some Gems only access certain documents. The document context settings control this.

Is AI always accurate? AI is helpful but not perfect. It can misinterpret things or miss context. Always verify critical information by checking the cited sources.

Can I create my own Gem? Administrators can create custom Gems. If you need one for a specific use case, talk to your admin.

How do I add someone to my team? Team members are managed through your organization’s admin. If someone’s missing, contact your administrator.

What does utilization percentage mean? It’s how much of someone’s available time is allocated to work. 100% means fully scheduled. Over 100% means they’re overbooked.

Are chat messages private? Direct messages are private between you and the recipient. Project chats are visible to everyone on that project.

How long are messages kept? Typically 90 days, but your organization might have different retention settings.

How do I get notifications? You’ll get notified when someone @mentions you or when there are important updates. Settings may be customizable in your profile.

Is there a mobile app? Valiro works through your browser—no app download needed. Just go to your Valiro URL and use the Mobile view.

Does it work offline? Limited offline support. Most features need an internet connection.

Can I do everything on mobile? Mobile focuses on field essentials: viewing tasks, updating status, chatting. For project setup and management, use the Office view.

How do I reset my password? Use the “Forgot Password” link on the login page, or contact your administrator.

How do I change my permissions? Contact your administrator. They manage roles and access.
