Introduction to Valiro AI
Valiro AI lets you ask questions about your documents and get real answers—with citations back to the source.
Instead of searching through folders, opening files, and hunting for information, you just ask: “What are the safety requirements for aerial work?” The AI finds the relevant section in your safety manual and tells you, with a link to the exact page.
The AI assistants in Valiro are called Gems. Your organization might have several, each configured for a different purpose.
A “Project Assistant” Gem might be tuned to answer questions about specific projects. A “Safety & Compliance” Gem might focus only on safety documentation. A general-purpose Gem might search everything.
When you start a chat, pick the Gem that fits what you’re looking for. Different Gems have access to different documents and respond in different ways.
What can you ask?
Section titled “What can you ask?”Anything about the documents in your system:
- “What are the deliverables for the Oakwood project?”
- “Summarize the main points of this contract”
- “What PPE is required for high-voltage work?”
- “Find all mentions of permit requirements”
- “What’s the procedure for equipment checkout?”
The AI searches your documents, finds relevant information, and generates an answer. You’ll see citations you can click to verify the source.
How it works (briefly)
Section titled “How it works (briefly)”When you upload a document, Valiro reads it and creates a searchable index. When you ask a question, the AI searches that index, finds relevant chunks of text, and uses them to generate a response.
This means the AI only knows what’s in your documents. It won’t make things up—if the information isn’t there, it’ll tell you it couldn’t find an answer.
What makes this useful
Section titled “What makes this useful”Most AI chatbots answer based on general knowledge. Valiro AI answers based on your documents—your contracts, your procedures, your specs. That’s the difference between a generic answer and one that’s actually relevant to your work.
The citations matter too. When AI says “the maximum load is 500 lbs,” you can click through and see exactly where that came from. Trust but verify.
Getting started
Section titled “Getting started”Click Valiro AI in the sidebar, pick a Gem, and ask something. Start simple—ask about a document you just uploaded, or request a summary.
As you get comfortable, you’ll find yourself reaching for AI instead of digging through files. That’s the point.
