Uploading Documents
Use this form to upload new documents to Valiro.
Select File
Section titled “Select File”Drag a file into the upload area or click to select a file.
Supported Formats
Section titled “Supported Formats”- PDF - Portable Document Format
- Office Documents - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Images - PNG, JPG, GIF
- Text Files - TXT, MD
Document Information
Section titled “Document Information”A descriptive name for the document. Defaults to the file name.
Description
Section titled “Description”Optional additional information about the document content.
Category
Section titled “Category”Select the appropriate category:

Assignment
Section titled “Assignment”Depending on the category, you can assign the document:
- Project - Select a project
- Work Package - Additionally select a work package
AI Processing
Section titled “AI Processing”After uploading, the document is automatically processed for semantic search:
- Text is extracted
- Content is split into chunks
- Embeddings are created
- Document is available for AI search
