Creating Work Packages
Work packages help you divide projects into manageable parts. This guide explains how to create them effectively.
Required Fields
Section titled “Required Fields”Give your work package a clear name that describes the outcome or work phase.
Optional Fields
Section titled “Optional Fields”Description
Section titled “Description”Provide context about what this work package covers and what results are expected.
Assigned Workers
Section titled “Assigned Workers”Select team members who will work on tasks within this work package. You can assign:
- Office workers for administrative tasks
- Field workers for on-site work
- Planned Start - When the work should begin
- Planned End - Target completion date
Using Templates
Section titled “Using Templates”If your organization has work package templates, you can:
- Click “Use Template” when creating
- Select a template from the list
- The template’s task types will be pre-filled
After Creating
Section titled “After Creating”After creation, navigate to the work package to:
- Add individual tasks
- Upload documents
- Track progress
