Editing Projects
You can modify project details at any time to keep information current as your project evolves.
What You Can Edit
Section titled “What You Can Edit”Basic Information
Section titled “Basic Information”- Name - Update if the project scope changes
- Description - Add or refine project context
- Stage - Move the project through its lifecycle
Assignment
Section titled “Assignment”- Project Manager - Reassign leadership as needed
- Changing the manager does not affect existing work package assignments
- Planned Start - Adjust if the timeline shifts
- Planned End - Update target completion dates
Access Requirements
Section titled “Access Requirements”To edit a project, you must be one of:
- The assigned project manager
- An organization administrator or owner
Regular members can view project details but cannot make changes.
Archiving Projects
Section titled “Archiving Projects”For completed or cancelled projects, consider archiving instead of deleting:
- Archived projects are hidden from the main list
- All data is preserved for reference
- You can restore archived projects if needed
Access archiving options through the project action menu.
