Editing Projects

You can modify project details at any time to keep information current as your project evolves.

  • Name - Update if the project scope changes
  • Description - Add or refine project context
  • Stage - Move the project through its lifecycle
  • Project Manager - Reassign leadership as needed
  • Changing the manager does not affect existing work package assignments
  • Planned Start - Adjust if the timeline shifts
  • Planned End - Update target completion dates

To edit a project, you must be one of:

  • The assigned project manager
  • An organization administrator or owner

Regular members can view project details but cannot make changes.

For completed or cancelled projects, consider archiving instead of deleting:

  • Archived projects are hidden from the main list
  • All data is preserved for reference
  • You can restore archived projects if needed

Access archiving options through the project action menu.
